Bidding for properties
Property Adverts
We advertise properties daily and they remain available on the site for three days, during which time you can apply for them.
The adverts tell you the landlord, location, size, rent and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you. There will also be a map showing the property's approximate location; if you click on and drag the orange man icon to a point on the map it will show you what the area looks like in Street View.
Where available, a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can access information about the local area and facilities.
The advert also tells you if there are any special requirements that you must meet, such as:
- Age
- Priority band
- Floor level
- Household size
Applying for a Property
To apply for a property you must tell us that you wish to be considered for it.
You can express your interest or 'bid' in one of the following ways:
- Online through this website
- By telephoning 0800 195 5552 (to find available properties and their codes) or 0845 270 0727 (to place your bid)
